- Starting in the High Country of Colorado, the Arkansas River offers some of the best whitewater in the world. Brown's Canyon is our most popular trip with fun class III rapids, perfect for all ages. With awesome veiws of some of Colorados highest peaks and fun, splashy waves, it's a great all around trip. If you are looking for more whitewater action, try a trip down into the depths of the Royal Gorge. You and your crew will paddle under the worlds hightest suspension bridge while rafting through this canyon. If steep and rocky rapids are your thing, try running the Numbers section north of Buena Vista. The river drops over 80 feet a mile on average through the Numbers, which is sure to keep your adrenaline pumping. If floating down a relaxing river sounds good, try a float trip through historic Salida and into Bighorn Sheep Canyon. This is great for families with small children or anyone who wants a lazy, senic ride.
